 She is due to perform in the US with her tour starting on 15 September and due to last about a month with the first stop being at WaMu Theatre in Vancouver and the last at September 28 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA. Cities from coast to coast are to be included in the tour, dates and cities as yet to be confirmed.

She is also doing an extensive tour of Australia as part of this world tour and it will be running from May 22nd to August 22nd. The current world tour is based on her latest released album called “Funhouse” which is her fifth album to date and has proved a roaring success launching many succesful singles.

Katie Price managed to lose the heels and don the not so glam trainers to run the 26.2 miles course with her husband Peter Andre, she was doing well until about 18 miles when she managed to twist her knee which then had her struggling for the last 8 miles but Peter Andre coaxed her on. She managed to finish in 7 hours and 11 minutes and also managed to raise over a quarter of a million pounds for her charity called Vision.

The Womens Main race was won by Irene Mitikenko of Germany in 2 hours 22 minutes and 11 seconds and second place fell to Brit runner Mara Yamauchi who came home in 2 hours 23 minutes and 12 seconds. Yamauchi is the Paula Radcliffe contender and has her sights on achieving a medal win in the 2012 Olympics to be held in London and is one to keep an eye on!

I’m interested in becoming a Certified Financial Planner, but I’m facing something of a “Catch 22.” In order to complete the requirements for the formal certification as a financial planner, a person has to have 3 years of financial work experience. I’m currently a full-time high school social studies teacher, and would like to make the transition to the new career as quickly as possible after I retire from teaching (in about 10 years). What can I do while I’m still a full-time teacher to get the financial work experience I need so that I can make the transition to a Certified Financial Planner without having to spend 3 years getting this experience after I retire from teaching? CEO Scott Cahill says that there is still a “substantial amount of cash remaining” that is being returned to Hercules, and that they are looking for a strategic buyer to keep the service alive.

The company has announced just $5 million in funding from Sutter Hill Ventures, but they may have burned through substantially more than that. There was rumored to be a previous angel round of nearly $2 million, and the founders took $3 million or so off the table in 2008. Sutter Hill may also have bridged the company an additional $2 million Along with the venture debt, the company may have raised as much as $14 million in capital. At this point, all equity holders other than the cashed-out founders are wiped out.

The startup provided text messaging based marketing services on behalf of brands, similar to competitor Mozes. We’ve added it to the deadpool.
